Evidence: Real constraints, real adoption environment

ClearTrack helps teams manage complex permits and inspections across multiple counties. Work is time-sensitive, regulated, and operationally critical.

Teams were managing permits and inspections across multiple systems. Important details were easy to miss, and work often stalled because it wasn’t clear what needed attention or who owned the next step.

ClearTrack supports people working under pressure — coordinators juggling volume, field staff moving quickly, and leaders needing confidence that nothing is falling through the cracks.

Before designing screens, I focused on how work actually moves — where it stalls, where handoffs break, and where visibility matters more than detail.

The interface prioritizes status, ownership, and next actions. Instead of hiding complexity, it organizes it so users can make decisions quickly without switching tools.

Many constraints were non-negotiable. The design surfaces requirements early so problems are caught before work stalls or needs to be redone.

The result was clearer ownership, fewer stalled tasks, and faster decisions. The system didn’t remove complexity — it made it manageable.
